New in 2019
Included in the auction are works of art that are not printed on the banners, but can be viewed here. Since there is a limited number of banners, and since some works of art are better suited to a banner, these wonderful works of art by very talented artists will be included in the silent auction at the closing reception. These works of art will also be displayed in various locations at area businesses and public buildings.
Also new in 2019, Youth artists were encouraged to submit art; several spaces were designated for banner art. This art was juried and included with the adult art. The art will be included in the silent auction.
This is an exciting time for area artists to showcase their work and for area businesses to sponsor this project to make Main Street Zumbrota an enjoyable and unique place to visit. The closing reception will be held October 12, 2019 at the Zumbrota VFW at 5:30 – 8 pm. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy music, food and meet the artists. All funds raised at the auction will go towards the renovation of the historic State Theatre. See you there!

FIELD OF FLOWERS
Acrylic on barn board with pine cones
April Forss
“With this piece, I was able to try something new on an old piece of barn wood. The flowers and bird were made from pine cones to make them stand out.”
GARDEN TIME

Beth Aylsworth
“Digging in the dirt and planting is enjoyable for me. But sometimes I have to share my produce with critters that find a way into my garden. I love watching tiny seeds grow into an edible delight. Homegrown vegatables have so much flavor!”
TOWN AND COUNTRY

Nancy Ellison
“Using fabric I had on hand, this was a fun project to sew while snowed in during a storm, thinking of people years ago crossing the Covered Bridge to go between town and country.”
