State Theatre

The State Theatre will be temporarily closed for the summer of 2024, but exciting things are happening!  The restoration of the old lobby will be done during this time. We hope to have it completed in early fall, if not it will still be functional as a venue while we complete this project.

We are working on the fall schedule.
Additional shows will be added and ticket links up soon.

Come support the band on their final gig before they head south to represent Minnesota. All profits will be used by the band to help cover their costs for the trip to Memphis.
This show will also be Charlie "Sugar Chuck" Lacy's last show in Minnesota. He and his wife, Martha, will be moving to Colorado in February. Come see one of the best blues guitarists in Minnesota play one last show for you before he moves to enjoy life in the snowy Rocky Mountains!
If you aren't familiar with the band, Jimmi and the Band of Souls is an award-winning blues band with members from both Minneapolis and Rochester. One of their guitarists, Tom Kochie, is a member of the Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame. Their performances are high energy and full of soul and passion. They play boogie-woogie. They play slow and lonely. They play toe tappin’, deep groovin’, and hard drivin’. You won't want to sit still when they start to play. The six-piece band brings a host of diversity too: electric guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, organ, piano, accordion, mandolin, bass, and drums. They are meant to be seen and, once you have, they won't be forgotten.
