The Whitesidewalls Rock ‘n’ Roll Revue was founded in 1972 in Forest Lake, Minnesota. College classmates Pat Brown and Eric Satterlund discovered a mutual love for 50s and 60s music and decided to form such a group. The Whitesidewalls grew quickly in popularity and became a fixture of the Twin Cities music scene, appearing at ballrooms, bars, corporate and community events and celebrations throughout the 5-state area. They presented the Rock ‘n’ Roll Revue for many summers at the Valleyfair amusement park in Shakopee Minnesota, and were a part of the first Winter Dance Party revival (the annual event commemorating the last shows of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and The Big Bopper at the Surf Ballroom) in Clear Lake Iowa in 1979, and have returned to perform many times at the February event. The Whitesidewalls have operated continuously since 1972 and carry on today, bringing the best of rock and roll, rockabilly and doo-wop from 1954 to 1964 (the “golden age of rock and roll”) to many thousands of friends, fans and dancers each year.[read more…]

The Twin Cities in Minnesota is home to one of the premier Beatles tributes in the country - Rubber Soul The Tribute. These five Beatle-crazed guys, fans before anything, enjoy and share their mutual passion with their audience. The line-up consists of Brian McGuire (Paul McCartney), Jonathan Ehresmann (George Harrison), Whelan Keenan (Ringo) and Mike McDonough (John Lennon). David Gores is a unique addition to the Fab Four on keyboards (ala Billy Preston). He performs the predominant keyboard parts from all of the Beatles catalog, and also contributes background vocals and extra percussion.
Rubber Soul features the entire Beatles history in one night! Early Beatles, the psychedelic era of Sgt Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour and later Beatles, covering the “White Album” release through “Abbey Road/Let it Be.” They also incude some hits of John, Paul, George, and RIngo, after the break up of the band. Their performance includes the use of authentic guitars, amplifiers, and costumes, and have been performing for audiences of all ages for more than 15 years.
Please note the Dinner Option for this concert is SOLD OUT.

Collective Unconscious presents Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" in its entirety for the 50th Anniversary of this groundbreaking album. We drop the needle on S&G's last record as a duo. Complete with Strings and Horns, it's a true sonic representation of the original arrangements, down to the last meticulous detail.
Bridge Over Troubled Water generates a unique set of feelings in us. The lyrics are so visual that taking the album down and placing it on the record player (the only real way to listen to BOTW) is like paging through a childhood photo album long lost. The record is simultaneously somber and joyous, deep and light. It’s only now, looking back across some 50 years that we get a sense of the placeholder in time that was BOTW. Released as it was in 1970, BOTW truly served as a marker between the decades, a nod to the ideals and folksy simplicity of the sixties mixed with the global complexities and inward thinking that was to dominate the decade to come. BOTW was a balm in a confusing time and remains so today.
