    MANHATTAN SHORT announced the Final Ten selections for its 24th Annual Short Film Festival, a worldwide event taking place in over 400 venues across six continents between September 23 and October 3, 2021. MANHATTAN SHORT is the only event of its kind. The Final Ten screen simultaneously across the world during a one-week period, with the Best Film and Best Actor awards determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue. By virtue of their selection by MANHATTAN SHORT, each short film is automatically Oscar-qualified.

    The Final Ten MANHATTAN SHORT finalists hail from eight countries with films from U.K, Afghanistan, Northern Ireland, Norway, Italy, and Canada, alongside two films each from France and the USA. These Final Ten Films represent the best short films from among 970 submissions from 70 countries received by MANHATTAN SHORT for 2021, testimony to the enduring vibrancy and creativity of short films worldwide.

    Mick Sterling Presents A GRAND OL OPRY CHRISTMAS is his third production holiday shows appearing around the region.

    A GRAND OL OPRY CHRISTMAS is performed by three top Twin Cities singers, Cate Fierro, Shalo Lee, and Mick Sterling who lead a top-flite band performing classic Christmas songs in a traditional country fashion.

    Songs performed by Dolly Parton, George Jones, Roy Orbison, Elvis, Merle Haggard, Glen Campell, and many more are lovingly and charmingly presented in a professional and conversational style that has communicated strongly with audiences since 2019.

    Traditional songs you know and some that perhaps you don't. But all delivered in a style that everyone loves.

The Zumbrota Area Arts Council (ZAAC) is a non-profit whose purpose is to enhance the public’s awareness and appreciation for the arts through education programs and arts-related activities, to cultivate area talent by providing opportunities for exposure, and to cooperate with other organizations that share a similar purpose.
