In Celebration of Covered Bridge Festival, ZAAC is proud to present   

           Up 

By tying thousands of balloons to his home, 78-year-old Carl sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years younger, inadvertently becomes a stowaway.

Released in 2009 and one of the last new release films to be shown at the State Theatre, this animated family film features the voice talents of Edward Asner and Christopher Plummer.

Where Were You In '62? Join two recent high school grads spending one last night cruising the strip before leaving for college. Enjoy this nostalgic trip back in time on the big screen at the vintage State Theatre, just like it was meant to be seen. This 1973 film by George Lucas launched the careers of many well-known actors including Harrison Ford, Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard, Cindy Williams, Charles Martin Smith, Mackenzie Phillips and Suzanne Sommers.

The Zumbrota downtown businesses are sponsoring a FREE MATINEE  on Saturday, December 8. Bring the whole family!

What holiday would be complete without Dr. Seuss’ animated timeless tale of the mean-spirited Grinch and his feeble attempt to steal the yuletide celebration of Whoville? Boris Karloff narrates this classic animated confection that’s the perfect festival of fun. (1966)
