Mick Sterling presents: Rod Stewart: Reason to Believe
Mick Sterling celebrates rocker Rod Stewart with “Reason to Believe: A Night of Vintage Rod Stewart,” Crossings brings Sterling back by popular demand after shows paying tribute to Van Morrison and Bruce Springsteen.
Both Stewart’s early solo songs and his work with The Faces were a perfect example of reckless rock and roll. At the same time, the unmistakable, beautiful harmony of guitars and strings fueled his unique soulfulness.
“Reason to Believe” will be a night full of the songs that made Stewart and an undeniably powerful and influential force in the history of rock and roll.
Featuring a 12-piece band fueled by strings, horns, guitars and bashing drums, “Reason to Believe” will be led by Minnesota Music Hall of Fame recipient Mick Sterling, along with vocal powerhouse Cate Fierro and special guests. This night of music will have Stewart fans on their feet one moment when the band rocks hard with songs such as “Stay with Me,” and “Hot Legs,” and with lumps in their throats the next moment with songs such as “Every Picture Tells a Story,” “Maggie Mae,” “Mandolin Wind,” and “Gasoline Alley.”
“Reason to Believe,” is a night filled with Stewart songs that influenced many bands since he arrived on the scene; songs that have stood the test of time because of their brilliance and performance.
