    The Hankies: "Hank Williams"

    7:30 PMZumbrota State Theatre

Pull on your boots and put on your cowboy hat for this fun tribute to Hank Williams! The Hankies are a country western band from Duluth that specializes in the songs of Hank Williams Sr.
Hiram King “Hank” Williams was an American singer-songwriter that is regarded as one of the most significant and influential musicians of the 20th century. His songs are still considered the high-water mark in country music more than 50 years after his tragic death at age 29. Songs such as “I’m so Lonesome I could Cry” and “Ramblin’ Man” are just a few his long list of hits.
The Hankies feature members of veteran bands, The Boomchucks and the Blackeyed Snakes. Patrons of the State Theatre have heard them as the Freewheelers performing Bob Dylan music. The rhythm section of Dicky Brooks on bass and Jim Hagstrom on drums and Jamie Ness. The band has also been known to feature special guests.

Tickets $18 at ZAAC.org or at the door.
