Free Sunday Classic Movie: Topper Returns (1941)
Topper Returns (1941, starring Joan Blondell, Roland Young, Carole Landis)A fun-loving young woman finds herself murdered after trading bedrooms with her wealthy friend. Her ghost seeks aid from a banker to find out why and by whom. Starring Joan Blondell, Roland Young, Carol Landis, Billie Burke, and Dennis O'Keefe.
All of the movies will be shown in their original, unedited format, with a pre-show newsreel or cartoon from the same era. Concessions will also be available for purchase at these shows. The movies are sponsored by individuals and businesses and by ZAAC.
While admission to the films is free, free will donations are encouraged and gladly accepted, with all proceeds from Classic Movie Sundays funding continued restoration and operation of the Historic State Theatre building.
The events at ZAAC are supported by memberships and volunteers.
