Toast in the Machine - The Police tribute band brings the true sound and energy of The Police to life. Performing at the State Theater on Friday, Sept. 14, at 7:30pm.
Formed by three Minneapolis musicians with years of experience in making amazing tribute shows work, this is their newest and best show yet. From the exact guitar and amazing drums and bass parts to the soaring Sting vocals and precise background vocals.... these guys just nail it, adding in all the details to make it sound truly authentic, and crowds love this band! Toast in the Machine - The Police tribute band brings the true sound and energy of The Police to life.
Andy Schultz is the lead singer and founder of Toast In The Machine, joined by Drummer/Percussionist Andy Deckard and TC (Todd) Ortberg, guitarist/keyboard and player/songwriter.
Opening for Toast in the Machine is "Twin Lakes", a folk rock with dark subject matter, catchy melodies, deep grooves, and lush harmonies. Intricate guitar parts interweave with funky bass lines, pocket drums, and lilting vocal melodies. They primarily play groove oriented, folk rock with a mix of covers ranging from classic hits to newer pop. Twin Lakes is a three piece band out of Rochester, Minnesota, consisting of: Robert Baune on guitar and lead vocals, Nate Pettey on bass and backing vocals, and Alex Ortberg on percussion and production.
Tickets are $22 in advance and $26 at the door.
