Minnesota’s premier Neil Young Tribute Band at the Zumbrota State TheatrePowderfinger gets “Into the music of Neil Young” featuring Al Neff, DJ for the radio series, “Into the Music” as heard on KRPR, 89.9. Al Neff will tell the compelling stories behind the amazing music of Neil Young. Going back to the early years of Buffalo Springfield, CSNY, Crazy Horse, and beyond. Just like Al’s “Into the Music” radio show, but with the music performed live by Powderfinger!
Powderfinger is Minnesota’s premier Neil Young Tribute Band. Consisting of Mark “Hazzy” Hasbrouck (Lead vocals, Guitar, Harmonica). Jim Gruidl (Guitar, Vocals.) Jim Bjorklun (Bass, Vocals), Andy Deckard (Drums, Vocals) For over 20 years Powderfinger has been performing all the hits and deeper album cuts that are the favorites of every Neil Young fan. They easily create the Neil Young and Crazy Horse sound everyone loves. Expect some long jams on classics like “Down by the River”, “Cowgirl in the Sand” and “Rockin in the Free World” and not to be missed hits like “Old Man”, “Heart of Gold” and “Harvest Moon” A truly great musical experience for any fan of Neil Young’s music.
